She has extensive experience working in food and agribusiness sectors in corporate, small business, government and research. With qualifications from the Australian National University, Queensland University of Technology and Harvard, Jayne currently lectures in International Business, and sits on various agribusiness boards.
COO & Co-Founder
Emily is a highly skilled communications and marketing professional with over 20 years’ experience in a number of sectors including food and agribusiness, local government, not for profit, small business, university and corporate. She has strong links in the hospitality sector through her previous roles as Director of both a restaurant and a Food Truck enterprise, including strong relationships with renowned
chefs nationally and internationally.
Creative Services Director & Co-Founder
Helen is a marketing and creative design professional with experience in a variety of food, beverage and government sectors. For the past five years she has been working with Australia's agribusiness sector. Helen has extensive experience in national and international event management and digital media. Helen runs her own successful small business, having developed product lines from her artwork for the local and tourism markets.
Communications and Media Manager
Heather is a PR and communications specialist with over 30 years of experience in the media, government, defence, real estate, natural resource management, not for profit and food production industries. Heather's experience is varied as a qualified journalist (having worked for ABC radio, The News and The Advertiser) but also as a PR and communication specialist for many organisations such as the SA research and Development Institute and PIRSA where she demonstrated her abilities in science communication, technical writing and editing.
Export Development Consultant
Wayne has over 35 years of experience in exporting, international marketing, trading and brand development, including more than 25 years in seafood at senior management level.
He has built relationships with some of the largest food/seafood companies particularly in Asia, extending into F & B, retail and supermarket sectors, giving him a great understanding of operations from catch to plate.
Wayne is currently Deputy Chair of the Seafood Trade Advisory Group and on the executive of the Australian Wild Abalone (AWA®) project.
Brisbane and Shanghai
China Trade and Market Analyst
Simon was a trade and market access officer for the Australian Embassy in Beijing for over 20 years before immigrating to Australia in 2004. He has worked with Australia’s seafood industry as a trade policy analyst for Seafood Services Australia and the FRDC. Simon now provides trade research and policy analyses for the Seafood Trade Advisory Group and operates a regular market intelligence service to the seafood industry providing regular translations of Chinese government directives and media reports on issues that may impact on seafood trade. He is a NAATI qualified interpreter and holds an MSc (Food Technology) from the University of Queensland
Communications and Marketing Assistant
Genevieve works with the Creative Services team to deliver branding, graphic design services and digital communications (including social and website, planning, execution and maintenance) to our clients. Genevieve plays a pivotal role as a member of our dynamic team to deliver exceptional results for our clients. Her background is in Graphic Design and she operates her own freelance business delivering branding to local businesses, predominately in the food industry.
